Barnsley Market Day 
 

Barnsley's famous market is over 700 years old and has over 300 stalls located in both indoor and outdoor areas.

 

It's a great place to find anything and everything.

 

Only the best and highest quality fresh produce is available sought from local suppliers. Our market has a wonderful selection of fresh meats available, we have daily deliveries of fresh fish and provide a wide range of fresh fruit and vegetables. If you are looking for carpets, cosmetics, hair pieces, specialist items for hobbies and the home they are all available at our markets. Our spacious cafes provide a welcome place for a well deserved coffee break.

 

 

Freshly cut flowers are delivered to the market daily. Classic arrangements to luxury bouquets, seasonal decoration to house plants, they are all available at Barnsley market.

Beverley Festival of Christmas

 

Now in its 20th year the award winning Beverley’s Festival of Christmas has grown from a small affair with just a handful of stalls to what is now one of the largest events in East Yorkshire and one of the biggest one day Christmas festivals in the country.

The event is held on the second Sunday of December around the historic town centre of Beverley in the heart of East Yorkshire. The festival offers a Victorian Christmas market with over 120 stalls selling a wide selection of colourful crafts, festive gifts and speciality seasonal foods. A unique atmosphere is created by the Victorian themed costumes, seasonal decorations, traditional fun fair rides and a huge variety of street entertainment right across the town.  

 
 

   
Blackpool Air Show  
 

This fabulous free event takes place over the famous Blackpool promenade between North and Central piers in the resort and thousands of visitors are expected.  Stunning aerobatic displays and daring feats of bravery will be on display. Blackpool has been wowing the public since 1909 when the town put on the very first official air show in Britain. That was the same year French flyer Louis Bleriot made the first historic crossing of the English Channel.  A day not to be missed!

The greatest 'free' show on earth costs in excess of two and a half million to stage and stretches for six glorious miles of spectacular glitz, colour, light and movement.  This year we have reserved a tram for our use SO NO QUEUE. We can sit back and tour through the illuminations on a tram.

 Famed for the rollercoaster ‘The Big One’ and one of the oldest Rollercoaster in the world, ‘The Grand National’.

 The coach will be parking at Blackpool Pleasure Beach where your evening begins, leaving you free to explore at your leisure or ride ‘The Big One’  or  one of the oldest Rollercoaster in the world, ‘The Grand National’. which start from a special stop just across from the Pleasure Beach.
